Overview
Hot strip mills from GEIT GROUP as all-round plants for high-quality hot strip. They are designed to produce flat steel from thin strip with a minimum final gauge of 1.2 millimeters to high-strength pipe steels up to 25.4 millimeters thick, including stainless steel grades. Implemented here are many technologies that ensure excellent hot strip quality as well as high cost efficiency and availability.

Technology
1. Camber free rolling for roughing stands
Our roughing mill stands are designed to produce straight and camber free transfer bars. That reduces rolling difficulties and cobble risks during finish rolling.
2.High-capacity spindle
A new hardening process, an optimized tooth design, and a special tribo-system enormously enhanced the performance of these shafts.
3.Strip cooling systems
Strip cooling is an important metallurgical process in hot strip mills.To achieve a wide range of cooling rates, GEIT GROUP established different strip cooling system modules ranging from 35 to 200 m3/ (h*m2). We combine these modules within a cooling section to offer you a money-saving solution geared to any product range.
